Center Stage demonstrates America’s respect for other cultures by providing unique opportunities for international performing artists to engage with diverse communities throughout the United States and offers Americans the chance to grow in understanding and appreciation of other nations.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions.

International Writing Program Fall Residency
Writers gather in Iowa City for this 10-week residency to work on personal creative writing projects, to give readings and lectures, and to interact with American audiences and literary communities across the U.S.

Museums Connect is designed to strengthen connections between people in the United States and abroad through museum-based exchanges.

Professional Fellows Media Program
The Professional Fellows Media Program brings emerging leaders from around the world to the United States for intensive fellowships designed to broaden their professional expertise.

The Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange provides opportunities for primary and secondary teachers to exchange positions with colleagues in the United States.

E-Teacher Scholarship Program
The E-Teacher Scholarship Program offers English teaching professionals living outside of the United States the opportunity to take one of seven innovative, online graduate level classes through the University of Oregon.

Educational Seminars for Teachers and Administrators
The Educational Seminars elementary and secondary school teachers and school administrators with opportunities to improve their understanding of U.S. and international educational practices and approaches. The three-to-eight-week long seminars are offered in Argentina, Brazil, Greece, India, Italy, Thailand and Uruguay.

The Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange provides opportunities for primary and secondary teachers to exchange positions with colleagues in the United States.

Global Connections and Exchange
The Global Connections and Exchange (GCE) Program supports collaboration and online linkages among students, educators, and community youth leaders from U.S. and overseas secondary schools and youth organizations.

International Leaders in Education Program
ILEP brings outstanding secondary school teachers from the Near East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Western Hemisphere to the United States to enhance their teaching skills and increase their knowledge about the United States.

Junior Faculty Development Program
Junior Faculty Development Program offers fellowships to university instructors in the early stages of their careers. JFDP Fellows attend U.S. colleges and universities to broaden their knowledge in their field of study.

Teachers of Critical Languages Program
The Teachers of Critical Languages Program (TCLP) brings teachers from China and Egypt to eligible U.S. elementary and secondary schools to teach Chinese and Arabic for an academic year.

Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program
International secondary school teachers participate in a six-week professional development program in the United States.
