Online Store
All online data are now free for all customers. We have a variety of items such as CD-ROMs, DVD's, posters, etc., which can be ordered through the Online Store. The Online Store also provides service for our partner Data Centers - The National Oceanographic Data Center and the the National Geophysical Data Center.
NOTE: There is a charge for most OFFLINE services. Prepayment is required and the accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, wire transfers, and Automated Clearing House. Please refer to the NNDC Non-Federal Customer Payment Policy for additional information.
Most states require records that are submitted as evidence in a court of law to be authenticated in some way. To accommodate this requirement, NCDC offers two types of certification of the data maintained in our archives: Department of Commerce certification and the General certification. The General Certification is NOT available for online ordering.
The National Climatic Data Center allows online ordering for offline delivery of certified weather records for the following products: Unedited Local Climatological Data (ULCD), Quality Controlled Local Climatological Data (QCLCD), Edited Local Climatological Data, the Global Historical Climatology Network (GHCN)-Daily data and other products from the Climate Data Online (CDO) system that are provided in PDF format ONLY.
Certified data is ordered online but delivery of certified paper copies is still by REGULAR MAIL. Your certified order will be sent by your indicated shipping method and normally takes 5–7 business days.
Data issues
If you have issues to report regarding the quality of NOAA data and you are a NOAA employee, you may file a report here. Non-NOAA employees can send an email to ncdc.orders@noaa.gov
