APD MISSION

The Army Publishing Directorate (APD) supports readiness as the Army’s centralized publications and forms management organization. APD provides quality information, publishing services, business process support, and content management of Department of the Army (DA) publishing products in support of the warfighter, Army transformation, the Army Campaign Plan, the Business Management Modernization Program (BMMP) and in streamlining administrative functional business processes, leveraging existing technologies.      

Authority for APD’s responsibilities is prescribed by:

♦ Title 41, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
♦ The Congressional Joint Committee on Printing (JCP).
♦ Government printing and binding regulations.

♦ Department of Defense (DOD) and DA internal policies and directives.
