The NOAA Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program is a six to eight week summer Career Orientation Program aimed at introducing NOAA related sciences to juniors and seniors in high school with a goal of increasing awareness and influencing education and career commitments. The long range aim of the program is to broaden the pool of technical talent available to NOAA occupations.

The program provides awareness of engineering and scientific careers through technical oriented work and exposure to day to day experiences of engineers and scientist.

Selected students will receive a bi-weekly stipend of $550.00.
