A family member includes the employee’s:

1) Spouse, parents, and spouse’s parents

2) Children, including stepchildren and adopted children, and their spouses;

3) Brothers and sisters, and their spouses

4) Anyone related by blood or affinity whose close relationship with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship.
