SOLDIER SERVICE CENTER AND HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD

NO SOLDIERS IN UNIFORM SEEN BEFORE 8:45am (POST GENERAL POLICY)

FAMILY MEMBERS WITHOUT SPONSORS NEED TO HAVE AN ORIGINAL COPY OF THE POWER OF ATTORNEY

You can make an online appointment by visiting the Rapids Appointments system.

Eligible persons seeking ID cards or DEERS enrollment for their Family Members must present appropriate documentation. Details on specific documentation required for eligibility and issuance of an ID card may be obtained by contacting the appropriate ID card section.

1. All Soldiers must report to their Brigade S-1 DEERS to receive their ID cards. All other Soldiers must report to Building 208 and Service members not assigned to Fort Stewart, to include tenant units, non-division and TDY. (MUST BE IN UNIFORM) or have leave form if on leave.

2. Family members will be enrolled into DEERS at the Mower Processing Center.

3. Family members will recieve ID Cards at the Soldier Service Center Bldg 253.

4. Legal documents cannot be used if they are laminated. MUST HAVE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.

5. All documents that need translation must go through Military One Source 1-800-342-9647.

6. One Family member every half hour from 11-12:30.

7.No more than two CAC every half hour. NO CAC'S DURING THE HOURS OF 11:00am - 13:00pm and NO CAC 'S AFTER 2:30.

The Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field ID Card Sections are responsible for providing support to all civilian employees, Family Members, retired military, government contractors and Soldiers assigned to a tenant unit at either location. Both locations operate on an appointment basis. Patrons requiring emergency support will be worked between appointments. Therefore, there may be delays in obtaining the required support. Soldiers assigned to the Third Infantry Division must receive their ID card issuance support from their respective Brigade Combat Team S1.

The Fort Stewart ID Card Section is located on Fort Stewart, Georgia, approximately 20 miles from I-95 and 40 miles from I-16 just outside the city of Hinesville. Upon entering the installation through the main gate, take a right at the first traffic light, and we are the first building to your left, the Soldier Service Center (Bldg 253).

The Hunter ID Card Section is located on Hunter Army Airfield located in Savannah, GA. Traveling either north or south on Interstate 95, get off at exit 94 and take Route 204 east. Exit to the right on to Veterans Parkway. Proceed along Veterans Parkway and exit at Lynes Parkway (Interstate 516). At the first traffic light turn right on to Montgomery Street. Enter through the gate to HAAF (road now becomes Duncan Drive). Proceed to Leonard-Neal Street and turn left (AAFES Gas Station/Shopette will be on far left corner prior to turn). At the stop sign, turn left on to Haley Avenue. Building 1286 will be to your immediate right and entrance to the parking lot is to the right in front of the building.

MOWER PROCESSING CENTER

DIRECTION

Mower Processing Center (MPC), bldg 208 is located on Fort Stewart, Georgia, approximately 20 miles from I-95 and 40 miles from I-16 just outside the city of Hinesville. Upon entering the installation through the main gate, take a right at the first traffic light, and turn left at the fourth street which is Soldier Pony Avenue, then at the second street turn right on Harmon Avenue. Our address is 614 Harmon Avenue. Mower Processing Center is located right behind the Marne Reception Center on the right hand side.

HOURS OF OPERATION

NO SOLDIERS SHALL BE SEEN BEFORE 8:45am (GARRISON COMMANDER’S POLICY). The hours of operation are between the hours of 0845 and 1200 and 1300 to 1600. We are closed for lunch between 1200 and 1300 hours.

Services are provided by appointments only. No walk-ins allowed unless for emergency reason. Appointments can be made online by visiting:

WHO WE SERVICE

All Soldiers must report to their Brigades’ ID Card Section to receive their ID cards unless otherwise approved. All other Soldiers, National Guard/Reserve Soldiers and Soldiers from Tenant Units (Dentac, Meddac, MPs, NCO Academy, CID, etc) and individual Soldiers who are TDY) must report to Building 208, Mower Processing Center (MPC) to receive services.

DRESS POLICY

Per the extract from Policy Letter #13 Standard of Dress all Soldiers must be in Military Uniform or have a leave as a prove of being on leave for the day. No exception to this policy.

GUIDELINES

Soldiers will report to bldg 208 (MPC) for all enrollments of family members.

Legal documents cannot be used if they are laminated. Original documents or true certified copies with original signatures of the documents MUST be presented.
