PIV Readers
Notice: All government-owned PC laptops at NCI-Frederick must have the ability
to log in with a PIV card by May 30, 2011. The NCI supplied enough USB PIV readers
to cover all current systems without a PIV reader. All new systems will be required
to have a PIV card reader included in the order. Most PC laptops can be configured
with an integrated reader.
VPN
Notice: The 2-Factor VPN client is being installed on all government-owned
laptops during the PIV card rollout.
