Location and Hours
The National Gallery of Art, located on the National Mall between 3rd and 7th Streets at Constitution Avenue NW, is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Gallery is closed on December 25 and January 1. For driving instructions on MapQuest, use "National Gallery of Art."
Description of Shops
The National Gallery of Art operates three major shops. The West Building Shop offers a large array of reproductions—many ready to hang, as well as elegant jewelry, related accessories, and giftware. Located in the underground Concourse between the East and West Buildings, the Bookstore features Gallery publications and a large selection of books on art, architecture, photography, and other art-related subjects. Directly across from the Bookstore is our Children's Shop, which offers an assortment of gifts to inspire creativity—art supplies, books, games, and toys. Specialty shops, located in various areas of the Gallery, are opened for major exhibitions and for the holidays.
