Note: You can only enroll outside of Open Season if you are a Newly Hired / Newly Eligible Federal or U.S. Postal Service Employee or you have experienced a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) that allows you to enroll.

FEDVIP coverage automatically continues year to year, even into retirement. You cannot cancel your FEDVIP coverage outside of Open Season simply because you retire.
