First National Vietnamese-Language Public Engagement

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites you to participate in our first national Vietnamese (Giao tiep) stakeholder engagement on Thursday, February 21, 2013  from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Pacific).  This free event will be the first in a series of multilingual public engagements and provide an opportunity for Vietnamese-speakers to engage with USCIS in their own language.

Each Giao tiep session will focus on an immigration-related topic and include a presentation and question and answer session with USCIS officials.  The first Giao tiep session will include a presentation on the naturalization process.  USCIS representatives will be on hand to answer your questions in Vietnamese about becoming a United States citizen.

Please note these sessions are not intended to provide legal advice or case specific information.

The event will be broadcast live from the USCIS Santa Ana, California, Field Office and stakeholders may participate:

  • In-person at our Santa Ana, California Field Office;
  • via teleconference by calling 1-888-989-4980 (password: "Giao tiep"); or
  • via live Web stream at http://www.uscis.gov/live/giaotiep

The USCIS Public Engagement Division looks forward to your participation.  Please feel free to share this information with individuals who may be interested in this important event.
