    New Provisional Waiver I-601A

    Beginning March 4, 2013, USCIS will begin accepting I-601A waiver applications from certain immediate relatives of U.S. citizens present in the U.S. who are in the process of seeking immigrant visas. I-601A waivers allow those with unlawful presence in the U.S. to be approved for a waiver before departing the U.S. for their immigrant visa interviews.

    The Juarez Rotary Club offered 14 children in cancer treatment and recovery a trip to Disneyland as part of their program “Your Love is my Life’s Dream.” The Consulate helped by expediting the visas. On January 9, 2013, the Rotary Club and Apanical recognized the Consulate in a public ceremony.
