Registration with the Central Contractor Registration System

Contractors that provide services to government agencies are required to file registration information with the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR), unless the purchase is made with a government purchase card.

Registration with CCR is easy. You can register online in a matter of minutes with CCR or call 1-866-606-8220. CCR uses the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) to identify contractors. If you do not have a DUNS number, you may obtain one or call 1-866-705-5711.

Once you are registered in CCR, all of the information required to conduct future business with ARC -- or with any agency of the government -- is maintained in the system and only needs to be renewed once a year.

Please note that changing your business name, "doing business as" name, or division name in CCR without providing the responsible Contracting Officer a minimum of one business day's written notification will delay payment processing.

We recommend that you register with the System for Award Management (SAM). Not only will this allow you an opportunity to do business with us, another Treasury bureau may add your company to the mailing lists for other acquisitions.

Information on Invoice Processing

The Administrative Resource Center uses the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) to process invoices submitted by vendors for the goods/services they provide.

IPP is a secure web-based system that is free of charge and allows vendors to monitor the status of their invoice throughout the processing cycle. The following links provide answers to questions you might have about invoice processing:
