    ABIDJAN – On February 1, the Ambassador of the United States of America, Phillip Carter III, and Ivoirian Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, Responsible for Economy and Finance, Niale Kaba, formally signed an agreement forgiving certain debt owed by Cote d’Ivoire to the United States Government. The debt to the United States to be forgiven includes investments by the United States Department of Agriculture, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Export-Import Bank of the United States, totaling over US$214 million...
