    Now Open: Tokbet Community Clinic thanks to Ambassador’s Self Help Program

    On January 12, 2013, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Jim McAnulty travelled to the Tokbet community in Plateau State to commission the Tokbet Community Clinic and Maternity Center. The Clinic is the product of a joint venture between the Tokbet Community Development Association and the U.S. Mission’s Small Grants Program.

    USAID and Nigerian Government Partner to Increase Private Financing for Nigerian Agriculture

    In a ceremony at the Central Bank of Nigeria on January 17, 2013, USAID Administrator Dr. Rajiv Shah, CBN Governor Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, represented by Honorable Minister Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, launched a groundbreaking partnership that will result in increased private financing for the country’s agriculture sector
