(Washington, DC) - Montana's U.S. Senators Jon Tester and Max Baucus welcomed Representative-elect Steve Daines to their weekly coffee with Montanans in Washington today.

"Washington needs more folks willing to work across party lines, and I look forward to teaming up with Steve to make responsible decisions for Montana," Tester said. "Steve and I have had some good conversations about the best ways to put Montana priorities first, and I will keep working with Steve and Max to create jobs, cut our debt and support Montana's small businesses."

"Too often, the deck is stacked against rural states like Montana in Washington, so it's all the more important that we work together to fight for what's right for Montana. Jon and I have been able to accomplish a lot a great things by working together, and we are excited to welcome Steve to the team," Baucus said.

"Montana has three representatives in Washington D.C. It's crucial that we work together to serve the people and represent the interests of our state," Daines said.
