If I could make a suggestion in regards to your posts about the Institue for Substance Use, Abuse and Addiction, I think there needs to be further research in the use of medications that are designed to assist people who suffer from prescription drug abuse (for example Suboxone) and the propensity for these individuals to abuse those medications, as well. I propose adding a program that addresses cognitive therapy, which is a method of pscychology that deals with changing the individual’s thought process, thereby forcing the individual to address issues in his/her life that initially lead to abusing drugs as a means of self-medication. Great website. Thanks for the info!
