Vet Centers: provide readjustment counseling and assistance in dealing with the uniquely stressful conditions of military service. Fisher House: A 'home away from home' for families and caregivers of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Homes are normally located within walking distance of the treatment facility.
