Severe Weather For the Great Lakes Region

The cold front moving into the Great Lakes region Monday, July 11, 2011 and into Tuesday could bring locally heavy rain and severe thunderstorms. Hot and humid conditions across a large portion of the central U.S. are creating the ingredients for possibly dangerous storms in the Central and Southern Plains and Mid and Lower Mississippi Valley. This image was taken by GOES East at 1715Z on July 11, 2011.
