Who sponsors the blog?

The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, which was created by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The blog is written by the Board staff and occasional guests.

How do I leave a comment?

Simply click on “Leave a Comment”.  Comments are moderated according to our policy (Add link).

Why do you ask for my name and email address when I leave a comment?

Providing your name and email address is optional.  We ask for your name and publish it with your comment to make it easier to carry on a conversation.  We ask for your email address so we can contact you if necessary; however, we do not publish your email address.

Comments that include private information, such as an email address, phone number, or social security number will not be posted.

In what order do the posts appear on the blog?

Posts are added in reverse chronological order with the most recent at the top. To find previous posts, use the “previous post” function at the bottom of the page.

Why didn’t my comment show up when I hit submit?

Comments are welcome at any time; however, moderating and posting comments will occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as early as possible, in most cases, the next business day.

What is “Subscribe to this blog’s feed”?

Subscribing to the RSS feed allows you to be notified automatically of new posts.  You need an RSS news reader (many can be downloaded for  free) or the most current web browser.  The latest versions of many of the most popular web browsers also function as news readers.

What is a permalink?

A permalink is a link to a blog post’s unique web page and should be used if you want to bookmark a specific entry.
