OSPO Volcanic Ash Products:

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Products Satellite Imagery
Sample VAA Image ICAO Products include Volcanic Ash Advisories (VAA) and associated Volcanic Ash Graphic (VAG) - VAA are issued every 6 hours or sooner for ash active volcanoes with VAG when ash is detected. Volcano Satellite Graphic Imagery from the GOES-13/15 and MTSAT satellites.

SO2 Imagery
Sample ADT Graphic Latest Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) imagery measuring SO2 - Includes 24-Hour Composite images and volcano specific images.

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)* Smithsonian Global Volcanism Program*
ICAO Image The International Civil Aviation Organization was created in 1944 to promote the safe and orderly development of international civil aviation throughout the world. Smithsonian Graphic The Smithsonian's Global Volcanism Program seeks better understanding of all volcanoes through documenting their eruptions - small as well as large - during the past 10,000 years.

University of Wisconsin-Madison* Michigan Technological University Volcanoes Page*
Sample Microwave Image The Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) at the University of Wisconsin maintains up to date satellite imagery of the world's most active volcanoes. MTU Graphic Michigan Tech's Volcanoes Page aims to provide information about volcanoes to the public and to complement other informational site on the web.

United States Geological Survey (USGS) International Federation of Air Line Pilots Association (IFALPA)*
Sample USGS Image The objectives of the USGS Volcano Hazards Program are to advance the scientific understanding of volcanic processes and to lessen the harmful impacts of volcanic activity.
Yellowstone Observatory | California Observatory Cascades Observatory
Graphic The mission of IFALPA is to be the global voice of professional pilots by providing representation, services and support in order to promote the highest level of aviation safety worldwide.
