High Density Satellite Derived Winds Vectors are currently provided three ways. The table page shows the wind vectors in the form of GIF images with the vectors plotted over a map background. Each wind type is shown at full disk with the satellite "footprint" also divided into NW, NE, SW, and SE sectors. High Density Wind Vectors are also plotted as an overlay on most Land and Ocean sector satellite imagery. The third link, provides access to the winds ftp site where vectors are available in text and MDFile format.
