Sports Development Project

The Sports Development Project aims to increase access, resources, and opportunities for sports in our community in the Eastern Province. Using the school sports teams as a starting point in promoting concepts of teamwork (even connecting with teams in the U.S.A.), organization, and gender equality, materials will be acquired to organize community-wide activities, led by students.
The community contribution for this project will consist of field renovations, upkeep, and maintenance. The Sports Development Project requests financial contributions from the Partnership Program to purchase new goals for the football field, equipment, uniforms, and supplies as sports becomes a more accessible and defined part of life. Additionally, the request from the Partnership Program will satisfy funds to allow both boys' and girls' school teams to travel and play matches at new schools in different districts.
