Acute Health Effects: From MSDS:HEALTH HAZARD DATA Routes of Exposure & Effects Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation.Eye: Contact may cause tearing or burning. Ingestion: Harmful if swallowed, may cause burns to the mouth and esophagus. Inhalation: Vapors or mists may irritate the nose or throat. Contact with eyes can cause corneal damage. Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Existing dermatological conditions.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS:Extended exposure can cause dizziness, headaches, nausea and vomiting.
Carcinogenicity: No components listed as carcinogenic components with: NTP, IARCM
First Aid: EYES: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water, while keeping eyelids apart for maximum irrigation. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. SKIN: Wash vigorously with soap and water. If irritation persists seek medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. INHALED: If headache, dizziness or nausea, relocate to fresh air. If irritation persists seek medical attention.INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Drink large quantity of milk, egg whites or gelatin. If these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Avoid alcohol. If spontaneous vomiting is inevitable, prevent aspiration by keeping the victims head below knees. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Seek immediate medical attention.
