The Marine and Family Programs Division (MF) under the staff cognizance of the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs is responsible for providing Service policy and resources to support commanders in executing quality Marine and family programs which enhance the operational readiness, war fighting capabilities, and life quality of Marines, their families, retirees and civilians. MF formulates plans and policy and, where appropriate, procedures for the operation of personal and family readiness programs of the Marine Corps. These programs include: Family Readiness, Personal and Professional Development, Family Care, Behavioral Health, Military Personnel Services. MF also represents the Marine Corps before Congress, Department of Defense (DOD), Department of the Navy (DON), civilian sponsored boards and committees on Marine and family readiness and quality of life matters.
