Passports Now Required for American Travelers to Mexico

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative requires all travelers, U.S. citizens and foreign nationals alike, to present a passport or other document that denote identity and citizenship when departing from or entering the United States by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. This proposed implementation will strength border security and facilitate entry into the United States. Please visit the "Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative" site for more information.
