Students Interview Secretary Clinton Live via Satellite at NHK Studios

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke to a global audience in her 59th live "Townterview" event, answering questions from people in various countries around the world including Japan. Ten Japanese university students gathered in the studios of NHK TV to interact live with the Secretary.

Secretary Clinton said, "I’ve traveled around doing these ... kinds of events, all over the globe. I’ve heard what’s on people’s minds and what their questions were, and so it’s been a great two-way communication."    • YouTube video    • Full transcript

In the NHK studio, 10 Japanese university students were eager to speak to the U.S. Secretary of State.
