About USDA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in South Asia is represented by the Offices of Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai.  Our mission is to represent the interests of U.S. agriculture and to assist exporters of American agricultural products in assessing and developing markets in the South Asian nations in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.  We also aid Indian importers in finding U.S. suppliers for needed agricultural products.
