What outreach and nutrition education materials are available? Outreach materials are designed to educate low income people about the nutrition benefits of SNAP and encourage participation. Materials include posters, brochures, and flyers, among other items. Many are available in Spanish. All are free.
The nutrition education materials, including brochures, guidebooks, and handouts, convey messages from MyPlate (and the 2010 Dietary Guidlines for Americans) in a low literacy format in English and Spanish. All are free.
How do I download the files? Select your target population of interest or "nutrition education" from the drop down menu below. Select "show all" to view all available materials. Click on "download file" next to each item to access the PDF file.
Who can use them? Partners, advocates, food banks, State and local SNAP offices, nutrition educators and anyone else engaged in SNAP outreach or nutrition education is invited to download these materials. Many materials include the national toll free number; however, you may customize the materials with your own phone number by adding a sticker or a stamp.
