Employment and Staffing
The Employment and Staffing section of the OHR website contains information on federal employment and staffing mechanisms employed at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This section features information on appointment mechanisms and special programs such as Commissioned Corps, Senior Biomedical Research Service (SBRS), and Title 42 Clinical Research Support (CRS) as well as explaining the different appointment types that are available under Title 5 such as Career and Career Conditional Appointments, Temporary and Term Appointments, Temporary Limited Appointments, Excepted Service, and Senior Executive Service (SES).
