Description
The Basic Simplified Acquisition course is intended to support the training of the HHS Acquisitions workforce on the use of SAPs utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 10 (Market Research), 12, and 13. It will provide them with a comprehensive understanding of acquiring goods and services, and show them how to be proficient in acquiring these items through the use of purchasing methods such as using a purchase card.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This course is different from the NIH Simplified Acquisition & Delegated Procurement Training Program (course ID NIHTC9513) that is required for NBS access.

- Demonstrate knowledge of the policies and procedures for the acquisition of commercial and non-commercial goods and services using simplified acquisition procedures.
