Advanced Simplified Acquisition

Description
(Formerly HHSU Course ID: AQ9003) This course is for students who have completed the Basic Simplified Acquisition course, have made awards using simplified acquisition procedures, and need to increase their contracting officer's warrant threshold. Students will develop a more in-depth understanding of FAR Parts 10, 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items), and 13. The focus of this course is on acquisitions between $25,000 and $5.5 million and makes use of practical exercises to illustrate key concepts.
**Special Note** This course is different from the "NIH Simplified Acquisition & Delegated Procurement Training Program" (course ID NIHTC9513) that is required for NBS access.
