The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (OEODM) works diligently to develop and deliver productive Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), diversity and inclusion training for the employees of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Our goal is to empower all employees with the necessary knowledge to cultivate a respectful and productive workplace while ensuring our leaders understand their responsibilities with respect to these complex matters.
Currently, OEODM is rebuilding our portfolio and staffing up our team. At the present time, we have the capability to deliver off the shelf training that we have developed in the EEO, diversity and inclusion arenas. Our hope is that we will eventually have the capacity to customize training and to provide a variety of training options to employees at the NIH. We appreciate your patience as we work to develop a solid learning and education program to serve your needs.
No EEO and diversity training is off-limits to employees. Just because you are not required to attend any particular training topic doesn't mean that you can't or shouldn't attend one! This is true whether you're a new or seasoned manager or employee, a research fellow or visiting scientist, or contractor; equally, we provide training whether you're in intramural or extramural.
