Consular Affairs is the public face of the U.S. Department of State for millions of U.S. citizens and foreign nationals. CA protects the welfare of U.S. citizens when they travel and reside in foreign countries and manages the issuance of official documents. Consular officers strive to provide excellent customer service while protecting the safety of U.S. borders and facilitating legitimate travel to the United States.  

U.S. Embassy Tel Aviv, American Citizens Services assists U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Tel Aviv's consular district, which is most of Green Line Israel. The section provides a variety of services, such as notaries; the adjudication of passports and consular reports of birth abroad; and responses to emergencies such as deaths, crime, injuries, arrests, and incarcerations.

U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem provides services to residents of the Municipality of Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. A Haifa Consular Agency provides services to residents in the Haifa area.
