Suicide Prevention

Shoulder to Shoulder: Finding Strength and Hope Together features individuals who have experienced the loss of loved ones to suicide and commentary from subject matter experts (SME) on resilience and suicide prevention.  Family, friends, and battle buddies who have experienced the loss of someone by suicide are also featured, as well as subject matter experts such as Chaplains, Military Family Life Consultants, child and youth program managers, employee assistance program managers, and behavioral health professionals.

Home Front is an interactive, Suicide Prevention training video, designed to address risk assessment, awareness and resilience building in the Army Family.  It features six vignettes with characters representing members of the Active Army, Reserve Component (ARNG/USAR), DA Civilians, and Family members.  It is intended to be utilized through a guided-discussion platform with a facilitator and in small to middle-sized groups.
