If it does not, the Acrobat Reader is either not installed, not configured properly, or may be an old version. Once the Reader is properly installed, configure it as a plug-in to see search matches highlighted in PDF documents. In Acrobat Reader 9, under Edit > Preferences > Search, turn on "Enable search highlights from external highlight server." Highlighting will not work with Acrobat Reader X which does not support search highlighting on external servers. You can use another PDF viewer or plug-in that supports hit highlighting. The same player handles audio and video. Audio and video are streaming. Note that the video is 24-bit color video. |
