DocMorph
Launched in May 1999, DocMorph is a publicly available Web site that allows
users to convert more than 50 types of electronic files into
5 possible outputs:
- Portable Document Format (PDF)
- Multi-page Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
- Single-page TIFF
- Text
- Machine-translated text
The DocMorph Web site is not only a useful consumer tool, but it also
provides the National Library of Medicine (NLM) a research mechanism to evaluate
the effectiveness and utility of various document image processing techniques
and algorithms. Click here for publications
relating to DocMorph research and development.
