In Vivo Hollow Fiber Assay

Description

Evaluation of test agents against human tumor cell lines grown in PVDF hollow fibers implanted in nude mice. The assay provides quantitative indices of drug efficacy with minimum expenditure of time and materials. It is currently being used as the initial in vivo experience for agents found to have reproducible activity in the in vitro anti-cancer drug screen.
