DLA Aviation delivers valentines, baskets to hospitalized veterans

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employees delivered valentines and gift baskets to veterans at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Va. DLA Aviation employees and children from several local schools donated the valentines.

The road to the future is based on the past, said Helen Shores Lee, circuit judge of the 10th Judicial Court of Alabama, Feb. 13 at an African-American History Month observance at the McNamara Headquarters Complex. Finding common ground is essential, she said.

DLA Document Services partners with Navy, Marine Corps for office savings

Defense Logistics Agency Document Services took responsibility for all Navy and Marine Corps office document devices following a Jan. 25 Department of the Navy policy memorandum. The policy brings about 70,000 devices under DLA Document Services.

Frosty Bear 5K race presents several challenges, weather not one of them

This year’s Frosty Bear 5K, a run/walk race held at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Jan. 30, was anything but frosty. With temperatures in the upper 60s, participants were decked out in a sea of shorts and tees, many emblazoned with logos from the military service branches.
