The 2010 Learn & Serve Challenge spotlights service-learning successes around the country. Throughout the year the Challenge builds awareness about how service-learning helps increase student achievement; the value of students’ contributions to their communities; spreads effective service-learning practices; and inspires other schools and communities to launch their own service-learning programs and projects.
Presented each year by the National Service-Learning Partnership in cooperation with the Corporation and other youth-serving organizations, the 2010 Challenge is expected to bring together young people, educators, business leaders, and community partners to shine a spotlight on the ways youth are translating what they learn in the classroom into action to improve their own lives and communities.
