    Use this form to order hard copies of ODPHP resources. Many items are available free of charge; others have a small cost-recovery fee in line with government guidelines.

Calendars and Tools

  • 2012 Federal Health Information Centers and Clearinghouses
    Federal health information centers and clearinghouses provide free public information and resources. Many offer toll-free numbers and Web sites. Use the directory to search for a clearinghouse by keyword or alphabetically.
  • 2012 National Health Observances
    The 2011 calendar features more than 175 National Health Observances with up-to-date information and outreach materials.
  • 2012 Toll-Free Numbers for Health Information
    These toll-free numbers provide health-related information, education, and support. They do not diagnose or recommend treatment for any disease. Some of the toll-free numbers use recorded messages. Others offer personalized counseling and referrals. Most toll-free numbers provide educational materials.
  • National Health Observance Toolkits
    Health observances are special days, weeks, or months used to raise awareness of important health topics. Each month, healthfinder.gov features one health observance in its National Health Observances Toolkit. The toolkit is full of information and ideas to engage the public in health promotion activities.
  • Health e-Cards
    Find an e-card to send to friends and family to encourage them to adopt healthy behaviors.

Fellowship and Visiting Scholar Opportunities

  • Luther L. Terry Senior Fellowship in Preventive Medicine Application
    The Luther L. Terry Senior Fellowship in Preventive Medicine provides intensive experience in a health policy setting, while the fellow benefits ODPHP by providing clinical, research, and population health expertise to support the Department’s health promotion and disease prevention goals.
  • ODPHP Visiting Scholar Application
    The ODPHP Visiting Scholar program is an outstanding opportunity for college and medical students, preventive medicine and primary care residents, HHS Emerging Leaders, and other scholars to gain experience in the formation of public health and healthcare policy at the Federal level.
  • APTR-ODPHP Public Health Fellowship Program
    The APTR-ODPHP Public Health Fellowship provides leadership training in prevention policy development and implementation. These fellowships offer activities that strengthen the public health infrastructure and foster academic and public health partnerships through professional development opportunities at ODPHP.
