Healthcare Systems Analyst

Mission:

The Healthcare Systems Analyst (HSA) serves as consultant to the Deputy Commander for Administrations and the Deputy Commander for Patient Services on business process planning, staffing and productivity. The HSA generates solutions through data collection and trend analysis for fiscal, clinical, and operational challenges facing the command and staff. The HSA is responsible for monitoring and analyzing nursing staffing and acuity activity using the Army Workload Management System for Nursing – internet (WMSNi) in order to calculate and capture nursing staff requirements. The HSA serves as consultant for data quality, medication management, nursing performance improvement, manpower analysis, workload accounting, space utilization, cost/expense reporting systems, and business analyses.
