Description:
In this course, we will demonstrate GeneIndexer, a text-mining tool for genomic analysis. Used to quickly identify genes of interest in large data sets, GeneIndexer is a unique discovery and hypothesis generation tool. With GeneIndexer, an investigator uses text queries, and a collection of over 1 million abstracts, to uncover mechanistic relationships between genes and prioritize genes for further research.
