PD100 - Customer Service Skills for IT Staff

Description:

    This CIT-only seminar will discuss the role customer service plays in our day -to- day work lives at the NIH. As CIT continues to create a customer service culture, all new Federal & contractor staff are required attend this session. All CIT staff are welcome to attend.

Objectives:

    Individuals will be able to:
  • Understand the concepts of CIT Customer Service
  • Define the obligation of providing service to Customers
  • Enhance communication skills and recognize the impact of attitude on customer service
  • Develop telephone techniques
  • Utilize listening responses to focus on emotional customer behaviors
  • Develop E-mail techniques
  • Develop skills in dealing with difficult customers
