The Ombudsman functions as a resource in support of Soldiers assigned to a Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) and their Family Members as well as Non-WTU Soldiers and their Family Members who need assistance with a medical related issue. Ombudsmen are DA Civilians who have been selected for their experience, determination, and passion to help Soldiers. They are located at 35 Locations in the United States, Puerto Rico and Europe. Soldiers and Family Members having a problem/issue will be well served by calling or visiting an Ombudsman. This option will allow the ombudsman to communicate directly with the Soldier/Family Member and Other concerned parties to ensure proper resolution of the issue presented.
