    Through demonstration users will understand the capabilities of the Microsoft Office Lync 2010 tool. The communications tool is also known as OCS Lync at the NIH. Lync is not only used for instant messaging but also one that allows for video conferences desktop sharing multi-party chat (enterprise version) and more. We will discuss the differences in functionality based on whether you have the standard or enterprise version.

    An OCS Lync account is not required to attend this session as it will not be conducted in the traditional hands-on format.

  • OCS/Lync calls (internal NIH & HRSA only, excludes dialing phone numbers)

  • Desktop Sharing
