Training Assessment Survey Results

Thanks for your recent participation in the CP26 Training Assessment survey!

Approximately 786 mid-level careerists (GS-343-11,12, 13 and YA-02) were surveyed; 160 responded.

*Survey conducted in 2009

In summary, the results indicate that the majority of the respondents have either Bachelor's or Post-Graduate degrees.

47% considered Functional Training as "Critical" to career development; Only 1% considered it "Not Important".

The Top Three attended Functional Training courses are:

  1. Manpower and Force Management (ALMC)
  2. Advanced Force Management School
  3. PPBE

Your input is crucial to our accurate prioritization of training needs for the career program. The survey has indicated that functional training is important to the careerists and is actually more of a priority than university degree programs. (Since the majority of those surveyed already had degrees and were not likely to apply for ACTEDS CPD support within the next 5 years). As we continue to analyze and prioritize CP26 training needs in an environment plagued by dwindling resources, we will refer to these survey results.

Please advise if you have any questions pertaining to the survey, its intent or the published results.

Thanks again for your participation!
