State Treatment Planning Areas: SubState Data on Alcohol

newIn 2005, for the first time, by combining data from several years of SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health, SAMHSA's Office of Applied Studies was able to estimate alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drug use in smaller areas than the State level. These subState areas within each State were determined by the States themselves and were designated State treatment planning areas. Tables provide the data by the State assigned names of their subState areas (State treatment planning areas). Maps show prevalence of the variable by the State treatment planning areas.
