Chernobyl Tissue Bank, The

Description

The Chernobyl Tissue Bank (CTB) is an international repository resource that supports studies on the health consequences of the Chernobyl accident. The project is funded by the NCI and other international partners and involves active participation by Russia and Ukraine. The CTB promotes global research on thyroid cancer through facilitating access to limited but well-annotated tumor specimens and associated data. Information on the number and types of specimens available in the CTB can be found at the CTB web site.
