Database of NCI Yeast Anti-Cancer Drug Screen Results

Description

  • The NCI Yeast Anticancer Drug Screen has screened over 50,000 compounds from the NCI repository against a panel of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) strains.
  • These strains harbor 1 or 2 mutations in genes involved in DNA damage repair (mgt1, mlh1, rad14, rad18, rad50, rad52 or sgs1) or cell cycle control (bub3, CLN2oe or mec2).
  • Data from the screen, for compounds that are not covered by a confidentiality agreement, can be now be accessed by the public on a Web site maintained by DTP.
