Cancer Survivor Prevalence Statistics

Description

Cancer survivor prevalence statistics based on data from the NCI's Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program are available. Cancer survivor prevalence represents the proportion (or number) of people alive on a certain day who previously had a diagnosis of the disease. Prevalence proportions are extrapolated to US populations to obtain estimates of US prevalence. Various definitions of cancer prevalence and references are also given.
